Listed below are the rules & regulations for each professional bout. Safety is our primary focus.These rules will be strictly enforced to protect each fighter.
GENERAL
Professional contests and exhibitions of mixed martial arts must be conducted under the supervision and authority of the Commission.
Professional contests shall be licensed by the Commission.
ROUNDS
Professional MMA bouts will not exceed three 5-minute rounds with a one minute rest period in between rounds.
Proper Attire
-Each contestant shall wear mixed martial arts shorts,biker shorts,boxing or kickboxing shorts during competition as approved by the Commission.
-No shirt or GI will be worn.Female contestants shall wear a body shirt and blouse during competition.
-Contestants may not wear shoes or padding on thier feet during competition.
EQUIPMENT
· Mouthguard
· Open finger gloves (4 to 8 oz.)
· Foul-Proof groin protection (male and female)
RULES
Disqualification from an contest and exhibition occurs after any combination of three fouls or after a fragrant foul as determined by the referee.
The following acts constitute fouls in a professional mixed martial arts contest or exhibition:
-Butting with the head.
-Eye Gouging of any kind.
-Biting.
-Hair pulling.
-Fishhooking.
-Groin attacks of any kind.
-Putting a finger into any oriface or into any cut or laceration on an opponent.
-Small joint manipulation.
-Striking the spine or back of the head.
-Striking downward using the point of the elbow.
-Throat strikes of any kind.
-Clawing,pinching or twisting the flesh.
-Grabbing the clavicle.
-Kicking the head of a grounded opponent.
-Kneeing the head of a grounded opponnent.
-Stomping a grounded opponent.
-Kicking the kidney with the heel.
-Spiking an opponent to the floor on his/her head or neck.
-Throwing an opponent out of the ring or fenced area.
-Holding the shorts or gloves of an opponent.
-Spitting at an opponent.
-Engaging in any type of unsportsmanlike conduct,especially that which may cause an injury to an opponent.
-Holding the rope or fence.
-Using abusive language on or during the break.
-Attacking an opponent in the care of the referee.
-ttacking an opponent after the bell has sounded the end of the period of competition.
-Disregarding the instructions of the referee.
-Timidity,including without limitation,avoiding contact with an opponent,intentionally or consistently dropping the mouthpiece or faking an injury.
-Interference by the corner.Team membes including cornermen and trainers shall stay in their designated area at all times during the event.
The Central Pennsylvania Warrior Challenge strictly follows the rules established by the Pennsylvania State Athletic Commission.
